Pompano Beach is located in Broward County, Florida along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, and just north of Fort Lauderdale.  The nearby Hillsboro Inlet forms part of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, which is a boaters dream.

Golf enthusiasts can enjoy the Pompano Beach Golf Course, and grab lunch or dinner at local hot spot Galuppi’s afterwards.  If you are looking to spend your day in nature, head to Fern Forest Nature Park, where you can take a peak at a native Indigo Snake in the Nature Center or walk on the many trails and boardwalks and look for owls, native flora and fauna.
